FIRST KICKER PROGRAM (4 years old) (U5)
Our youngest players are placed in a perfect learning environment for their first experience with soccer. Coaches will guide players through specially designed activities that will foster an enjoyment for the game, challenge balance and coordination, and reinforce listening and social skills. Competitive matches are not played at this age but players will experience scoring goals every week as part of the curriculum. This is our perfect entry to the start of their soccer journey.
LITTLE KICKERS DIVISION (5 years old) (U6)
The Little Kickers Division will be focused on Individual Player Development. The curriculum is designed for the fundamental skills that are developmentally appropriate for this age group. Our activities include fun and exciting games that will allow each player to constantly have a ball at their feet and constantly be involved. Training will be on Monday evenings at Kolm (Triangle) Park. The training will focus on fundamental skill development while ensuring the children have an enjoyable experience. On Sunday, at Old Country Rd School, the children will participate in some additional training and play a small sided game. All sessions will be administered and overseen by our HASC training staff.
JUNIOR KICKERS DIVISION (6 years old) (U7)
The Junior Kickers Division will be focused on Individual Player Development with a large concentration on Partner Activities and the Player Triangle (relationship between “me” and everyone else on the field). At this stage of development, we hope to master fundamental skills and game awareness. Training will be on Monday evenings at Kolm (Triangle) Park. On Sunday, at Old Country Rd School, the children will participate in some additional training and play a small sided game. All sessions will be sdministered and overseen by our HASC training staff.
KICKERS DIVISION (7 to 8 years old) (U8-U9)
The Kickers Boys/Girls Division will be focused on a continued effort to master Individual Skills and Small Group Activities. There will be a large concentration on Positional Responsibility. Players will learn the importance of each role on the field. IT WILL NOT LOOK LIKE CHESS ON GRASS. We are preparing them for the next step of their soccer careers, Travel Soccer. Training will be on Monday evenings at Kolm (Triangle) Park. On Sunday, at Old Country Rd School, the children will play a 40 minute game with goalkeepers. All sessions will be administered and overseen by our HASC training staff.
